Brigidine Sisters in Sydney recently received news from Frances Robertson, Principal of St Patrick’s School, Cooma, about a “special addition” to St Patrick School grounds.
They commissioned a local artisan to create a fire pit at the school to represent the Kildare flame of learning. Brigidine St Ives ex-student and current staff member, Lou MacKay prepared the design.
St Patrick’s is co-educational Kindergarten to Year 10 school situated within the Cooma township. The school continues to build on the traditions and Christian values developed through the influence of the Brigidine Sisters.
