As the Church celebrates the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul on 27 September each year we give thanks for his life and wisdom which still challenges all who live and work with others.
He is quoted as saying – “Make it a practice to judge persons and things in the most favourable light at all times and under all circumstances.”
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is committed to actively and passionately speaking out against the various causes of poverty and inequality on behalf of the people they serve. Brigidine Sisters continue to support the work of the Society in a variety of ways.
