On the Feast of Christ the King Year A the Gospel reading we hear is taken from Matthew 25:31-46 and offers many invitations and calls. It strips back any unessential details and provides a clear blueprint for what true Christian living looks like.
In solidarity with millions of people in the world, we too yearn for the reign of justice and peace today. In solidarity with Earth, our common home, we recognize the need to expand our horizons and to extend our concern to the suffering of the whole Earth community, human and other-than-human.
