US Sisters Against Human Trafficking

Brigidine Sisters congratulate the US Catholic Sisters who continue to work tirelessly against human trafficking and advocate for victims and survivors of these crimes.

Their November 2020 newsletter offers challenging insights into the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on children, women and men who are vulnerable to being trafficked and exploited.

We often consider the impacts the pandemic has on us personally. Let’s remember those who are impacted even more devastatingly by the corona virus and take whatever action we can to bring an end to their abuse and suffering. We can pray for those who exploit them, raise our voices for the rights of each and all, advocate with business and national leaders and donate to a groups working to end human trafficking and slavery. May Brigid of Kildare, our Patroness and Women of Justice inspire us to respond with compassion and justice.
