To mark World Communication Day on 26 May 2020, Pope Francis released a message on the biblical text from Exodus 10:2: “That you may tell your children and grandchildren”.
As Brigidine women we are inspired by the life and stories of Jesus, Brigid of Kildare, Daniel Delany and the unfolding of Divine revelation all around us. (2020 Congregational Forum)
Let us commit to weaving stories that build up, not tear down; stories that help us rediscover our roots and the strength needed to move forward together.
Amid all the many voices and messages that surround us, may the human story we express speak of truth and of the beauty all around us.
Let our narratives of the world and its events be related with a tender gaze that tells we are part of a living and interconnected tapestry and may our stories help reveal the interweaving of the threads which connect us to one another and all living beings.
