In the third week of Advent let us focus anew on those things that bring us hope and joy! It’s often easy to become downhearted or to feel paralyzed by the negative things we read about or encounter. However, this week we are encouraged to have courage and hope because our God is coming.
How might you make time this week to be intentional about counting your blessings and being thankful rather than downhearted and fearful?
Brigidine Sisters together with our associates, colleagues in ministry, past pupils and all Christians join in praying and working during this third week of Advent for joy and hope to find a home in us and in our world.
“Be patient until the Lord’s coming. Think of the farmer how patiently he waits for the precious fruits of the ground until it has had the autumn rains and the spring rains. You too have to be patient, do not lose heart.” (Letter to James 5: 7- 8)
