World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

This day is marked annually on 30 July and comes with the shocking reminder that human trafficking and modern slavery still exist in all countries of the world. It is believed that there are currently over 40 million people in the world who have been trafficked and trapped into forced labour, sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse. Let us renew our prayer, efforts and campaigns to eliminate human trafficking in all its forms. Consider learning about and supporting one of the following groups in which Brigidine Sisters are engaged or supportive.
