World Humanitarian Day is held on19 August each year to celebrate and honour the service of humanitarian workers. It’s a chance to pray for these selfless workers, to rally whatever support we can for people affected by crises around the world and to honor humanitarian workers who have been killed or injured while serving.
In particular, this year we’re conscious of all humanitarians workers who are at the frontline of the Covid-19 crises in each and every country.
