Social Justice

Furthering the Reign of God through engagement in working to build a more just society has been central to the Brigidine story.

We continue to work in a variety of formal and informal ways as advocates for people who are marginalized in our world today – asylum seekers, refugees, travellers, indigenous and islander peoples and people vulnerable to being trafficked and exploited.

The world in which we live continues to be marred by systemic discrimination and injustice.

As Brigidines we are committed to working with our colleagues and others to help bring the reforms need-ed for the realisation of a more just world.
